Bridie is currently working towards her full registration as a General Psychologist. Over her professional career Bridie has worked with children, adults, and families in both the NDIS and community sector. She has previously worked in the field of adult and paediatric sleep health in both public hospitals and private settings. Bridie has a passion for sleep and chronic health concerns, family and parenting support, and general mental wellbeing. She uses evidence-based therapeutic frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Bridie's approach is warm, considerate, and encouraging. She believes in putting the client first and individualising treatment to the unique needs of each client. Bridie is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and holds provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Belen is an integrative, empathic, person-centered Counsellor and Provisional Psychologist. She has more than 10 year’s experience in both the UK and Argentina. In the UK she was a member of the British Psychology Society. Has worked as a Psychotherapist with women and taught Psychology at the Oxford Royale Academy. In Argentina she is a qualified Clinical Psychologist. As such she has worked with children, adolescents and adults leading treatments in inpatient units, general hospitals and private practice. She has also worked as a School Counselor and has been a Speaker at the Argentine Annual Psychiatry Congress. Has experience working with a wide variety of clinical presentations:stress, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, mood disorders, among others. Recently moved to Australia where she is doing her internship as a provisional psychologist. Belen is also the President of the International Attachment Network of Australia. An energetic, caring, and sensitive professional, Belen provides trauma-informed practice, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-based psychotherapy, and integrates psychodynamic perspectives with neuroscience from a developmental perspective.
