Service Description

Bridie is currently working towards her full registration as a General Psychologist. Over her professional career Bridie has worked with children, adults, and families in both the NDIS and community sector. She has previously worked in the field of adult and paediatric sleep health in both public hospitals and private settings. Bridie has a passion for sleep and chronic health concerns, family and parenting support, and general mental wellbeing. She uses evidence-based therapeutic frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Bridie's approach is warm, considerate, and encouraging. She believes in putting the client first and individualising treatment to the unique needs of each client. Bridie is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and holds provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). In her spare time Bridie enjoys spending time in nature, snowboarding, yoga, and playing music
